After nearly ten years studying and practising landscape design in California, Mathieu Besnier developed a design philosophy shaped by Mediterranean climates and a deep respect for the natural landscape. Today, each project combines climate-adapted planting, natural stone, warm materials and clean lines to create an immersive mediterranean garden that feels both timeless and authentic.
From the initial site analysis to concept sketches, technical plans and coordination with skilled local craftspeople, every stage is guided by a coherent design vision. Our approach to outdoor living design creates fluid connections between terraces, pathways, planted areas and the home. As a Garden designer, the studio balances everyday comfort with ecological sensitivity and lasting elegance.
